Honoring Our Outgoing Leaders. Welcoming Our Incoming Officers.
Honoring Our Outgoing Leaders. Welcoming Our Incoming Officers.
As we close out our 2025-2026 fiscal year, we pause to honor and thank our outgoing Executive Board members for their exceptional leadership, dedicated service, and unwavering commitment to our beloved NAASC.
Your time, talent, and vision have strengthened our Association, advanced our mission, and fostered meaningful connections among Spelman alumnae. Through your leadership, you have upheld the legacy of excellence, service, and sisterhood that defines the Spelman experience.
Thank you for the countless hours you have invested, the challenges you have navigated, and the foundation you have built for those who will follow. Your impact will continue to inspire generations of Spelman women to lead with purpose and serve with distinction.
On behalf of all of the membership of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your faithful service and lasting contributions. We celebrate you, we appreciate you, and we thank you for continuing to exemplify the values of our beloved alma mater.
With Gratitude We Recognize…
Chantel Bryant, C’2007, Corresponding Secretary, whose diligence and communication kept our membership informed and connected throughout her term.
Maria Maxie Whitfield, C’88, Far West Regional Coordinator, who led with vision through the completion of her term and leaves a strengthened Far West Region in her wake.
Shanon Belle, C’2008, Far West Regional Delegate, whose faithful representation and advocacy for our Far West sisters over the course of her term will not be forgotten.
Shonna Smith, C’97, IT Committee Chairperson, whose behind-the-scenes technical leadership kept our Association connected and modern — and whose service to NAASC continues, as you'll see below.
To each of you: thank you for saying yes to service, and for leaving NAASC stronger than you found it.
Welcoming Our Incoming 2026-2028 Officers
