NAASC Is Getting Ready for You.
Spelman Sisters, the countdown is ON! Homecoming 2026 runs October 8-11, and that means it’s almost time for you to come back home.
This year, the NAASC Membership Committee is welcoming you home under a theme that says it all: “There’s No Place Like Home”. In the words of Membership Committee Chairperson Maria Maxie-Whitfield, we are focused on creating an experience that feels just like that — warm, familiar, and rooted in the joy of Spelman Sisterhood.
Whether you’ll be walking through the gates this weekend or cheering from your living room, this post has everything you need to stay connected.
As we get closer to Homecoming, and especially once we arrive on campus, the Membership Committee will send a text message reminder with updates, instructions, and reminders. This text will also let Sisters know where the Membership Committee is located on campus throughout the weekend, so you can easily find us for volunteer assignments, support, or a quick “hey y’all”.
Tip: Make sure the mobile number in your NAASC profile is current so you don’t miss a text.
Coming into town? Don’t forget to stop by the NAASC tent on October 9–10. We can’t wait to hug you, catch up, and welcome you home.
Homecoming Happenings You Should Know About
Thursday October 8th
Make sure you take some time today to update your NAASC Membership profile so you’ll be eligible for our Friday and Saturday Membership Drawings (no need to be present to win). See below for prize drawing eligibility details.
Friday October 9th
Find us in the Bessie Strong Parking Lot.
Visit the website and our social media pages to get details about our new fundraiser
Saturday October 10th
Visit us outside near the Center for Innovation and the Arts.
Join Spelman Students and your alumnae sisters for a Get Out The Vote drone photo opportunity at 10am.
Membership Drawing Eligibility FAQs
Q: What constitutes as a profile update?
A: Adding your LinkedIn link, adding your career/industry, updating your phone number and email address all are considered profile updates that enter you into the drawings.
Q: Who is eligible to win in the drawing?
A: All NAASC financial members who have updated their profile from the beginning of our current fiscal year (July 1, 2026 - present), are eligible to win in the drawing.
Q: How many drawings will take place during homecoming?
A. There will be two drawings on Friday, October 9th, and two drawings on Saturday, October 10th.
Q: What are the prizes?
A: Winners will receive a gift card.
Q: Do I need to be present to receive my prize?
A: No! You do NOT need to be present to claim your prize (but make sure your contact information is up to date in your NAASC profile!)
